Inspired by her childhood in Normandy and family gatherings by the sea, Marion, now living in a small town in Anjou, created Les Extra-Ordinaires’ all-natural linen bread bags to capture this essence.
Drawing on the ancient tradition of storing bread in linen—a practice dating back to Roman times—and the heritage of French linen production in Normandy, Marion’s goal is to reduce bakery-to-customer single-use paper waste. We artfully designed our La Boule bread bags as a witty play on words in true French tradition, inspired by a beloved game across France, especially in the south: pétanque. This design evokes the ambiance of fine French wine, freshly baked bread, and a good game of pétanque!
